| LAYOUT. Everglow
I honestly cannot say what I had in mind when I made this layout. I wanted something a bit different from what I was doing. It turned out different, all right. I used two textures, lots of layers, and a lot of brushes. It didn't turn out too bad, I guess. Although I do think I might have overdone it with all the sparkles.
Anyway, this layout features the character Ren from the anime Erementar Gerad. Look familiar? It's the same character I used so many images of in my other layout, Memories of Her. I really like the artwork in this series, although I do find it a little odd that the tips of her hair are pink. Oh well. You work with what you can get. The original artwork just had her kneeling there, with her hands out, like she's going to catch something or holding something already, but there was nothing there. So I was thinking, It looks a little empty........ and added a bunch of glowing......... stuff in her hands and all around her. Interesting results, as you can see. I named it "everglow" because it sounded cool, and it fit somehow. Forever glowing.
I've been working on this layout for quite a long time. Somewhere around a week now, I think. It's changed so much from what it looked like originally. I only had one texture at first, but I thought it looked a little plain, so I added sparkles and clouds and overlayed textures and lots and lots of brushes. And then I went crazy with more brushes, more overlayed effects, duplicated layers, and yada yada yada. I ended up with more than fifty layers. (@_@) I am never doing something like this again.
(So I say, but then I'll come back and make more ten of these in the future. Just you watch.)
Anyway, yeah. I coded it with tables again, so there shouldn't be too many alignment problems. The color scheme is kind of blue // green // purple. A little bit similar to my Frigidity layout, but not exactly. More colors, more hues.
Please enjoy.
